Hi. I've had an idea about installing a custom braket. Taking off the Fan and black housing, and fixing the braket to the heatsink. My question is, would this cause irreparable to the Heatsink  . For a Ducting Project idea.

Thanks IceShock. :) I will need a 120mil thingy. A Freezer 64 is hooj, and as such, i am going to lose a fan.
Basically, any bracket, will press up and against the side fan. The mobo takes up the entire tray and a few millimeters over. Space is realy tight.

Had an idea to create a air tube for the Dimms. I reckon on attaching it, off the middle of the flume. Most of the Dimms Airspace, will be consumed by the Ducting! I will have to move them to Channels 3&4. Looks like i will have to take the tube to exhaust through the side. Looks like i will need custom fan mounts too. Airflow will be from the Psu, past an Amber120. It will flow over the Pci Cards and up past the Sata drive. Not good.

i dont have a arctic thingymbob

but i have a modified amd heatpipe heatsink.

Can you elaborate on this please ;)
