Hello, Im new to this forum and didn't know where to put this thread so please move it if needs be. thank you .

Anyway, I bought a Zoostorm PC just before christmas and it was freezing randomly, Since then i've got a new PSU (Corsair 750w), Graphics Card (9400GT), Case (antec 902) and im still facing the issue of freezing sometimes.

At first i thought it was overheating but the core temps are average of 50 at idle which is very hot but still not enough for it to overheat.

Everybody ive consulted about this problem suggests it could be the OS, Windows 7 Proffesional 64 bit. Ive run Ccleaner and other registry tools and it is fine yet it still freezes, I left my pc on for 5 hours and when i came back the screensaver was on and it was frozen, when i click firefox sometimes the pc will freeze aswell.

Please help me, I have no idea what to do.

The first port of call is to take a look at your event viewer. You can find this by searching for Event Viewer from the Start Menu.

Of the categories of logs [left side of Events window] you should take a look at Application and System logs. Look for anything with a red or yellow symbol next to it.

Since you will have no doubt have had to reset your computer [i.e. improper shutdown] these will show up under System. Usually along the lines of Kernel Power errors. You should look for any errors/warnings preceeding these entries. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was nothing at all - such is life.

Wow, Theres plenty of errors for browser

a few cd errors

a few terminal services - remote connection manager errors

and a few critical kernal power errors (as you said)

so how do i go about fixing these?

thanks for the help

id need like 50 DVDs lol and im trying to persuade my friend to let me borrow his external hard drive

To be honest i think im going to go back to XP, 7 just seems rubbish compared to xp.
