Every 30mins to 1 hour my PC tends to freeze for 1-2 seconds and all my sound buzz's and goes off its **** , it used to do the sound buzzing earlier but now its developed into the 1-2 second visual freezes aswell as the sound , ive read around and mostly people recommend resitting the RAM , just wondering if anybody else knows the issue before i blow my PC up.

We really need more info from you to help more specifically.

System specs
Operating system
How long this has been happening for - as you have more than one issue here it seems.
When these issues first started to occur?

Without decent information it is very difficult to second guess, and diagnose the problem accurately - if at all.

Post back and we can try to help.

Anything in Event Viewer showing something crashing at the time as well?

Any OC on the PC? Can remove that and see if does same at stock

Only just managed to get back on , i constantly have temp monitors up they seem to be fine , theirs no overclocks on the PC currently and i have the Samsung 830 Series 128gb SSD.

From as far i can remember it started happening around 1 month after i built the PC or ad least the sound problem did , im not sure fully how to explain it apart from sound (warping).

Its only since today its started to show visual (lag) tho, the system doesnt shut down it just lasts around 1-2 seconds or something and then everything is fine, i checked the event log it has no errors.

CPU: i5 3570k
GPU: GTX 670 Windforce 3x
MOBO: Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H
RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz 1.5v
SSD: Samsung 830 Series 128gb
Secondary HD: Samsung F3 Spinpoint 1TB
PSU: OCZ Z Series 650w

looking at that spec it could be psu related or memory or bios

anychance you can test with a different model psu?

and tried with just 8gb of memory installed?

id also recommend updating to the latest bios first and flash from a usb stick using qflash from within the bios

try setting pcie/bclk to 100
vcore voltage response to fast and pwm phase control to extreme performance
enable x.m.p for your memory and choose profile 1

all of those settings will help with stability

you might also need 1.10v cpu/vtt for 16gb of ram

Yer the PSU and secondary HD are 1 year 6 months old now , Everything else is only 6 months old. i dont think i will behow to test with another PSU any time soon unfortunately but i will test the other things to you said to do :)

you need to test each thing to try and find out what it is,psu might be perfectly fine but ive dealt with a lot of issues regarding ocz psu's and gigabyte boards in the past

your memory/settings could be another main cause aswell esp if its freezing up ect

try pulling 8gb out and see if it does it then, then you'll know if its memory/voltage/setting

can also run memtest86 and see if any errors crop up as you could have a faulty ram stick or two

http://i.imgur.com/qo1xA1J.jpg , do all them temps etc look fine to you ? , also i forgot to mention that the actual visual lag only started every i cleaned dust out my computer , ill pull some ram out and see if everything is fine along with the memory profiles you said earlier etc.

yh temps are fine,

maybe you knocked something? check your ram again and cpu heatsink

or try clearing the cmos and re enter all your bios settings again

okai sweet , its been 1 hour and a half and it hasn't happend so the next time it happens ill check the ram/heat sink , if it still does it after that ill do the setting you recommended earlier along with the memtest / 8gb ram,

id try vcore voltage response to fast and set cpu/vtt to 1.10v if you use 16gb,that might fix the freezing
