Freezing tomatoes

hi all

I was wondering if anyone had any luck with freezing tomatoes before using them in recipes.

I am wanting to make my own passata but want to freeze the tomatoes until I have plenty of ripened tomatoes ready so I can make a big batch of passata all at once.

Cheers for your suggests guys, sound perfect!
I picked around 20 that were fully ripened and stuck the in the freezer, have tonnes more to pick once ripened so will defiantly use your suggestions
