Got my motherboard this morning and everything, but when i tried to install Windows XP, it just keeps crashing, at 56% everytime. I've tried using a different XP disc, i've tried using a different CD drive, i've tried using a different hard drive, but the same thing happens. When it reaches 56%, my Hard Drive/CD drive stops making its loading noises as well, so it can't just be taking its time to transfer a file to my Hard Drive. Also, it never freezes on the same file, it always freezes on different files.

What's going wrong now?

could be bad memory or overheating, check temperatures and try removing some memory sticks

also could be ide cables, power supply, motherboard..

Thanks man, seems one of my RAM modules was preventing me from installing it. Got it installed now though; thanks
