Who should I get a new set of French Windows from?
I had a salesman from Anglian round yesterday.
I let him give me his hour and a half (snore) of sales spiel (let him get a bit invested in me).
He came up with a quote of £2935, which I suitably laughed at.
Then he told me with the super mega reductions of the gold account and clever things I could get it for a mere £1,650!
At which point I told him "look, stop right there, I'm not even going to entertain a quote that's over a thousand pounds".
He stuttered and went a little whiter than usual but got back onto track interrogating me about why I would want to buy from local firms who used crap quality windows and blah blah blah.
Eventually he called up his boss, and after he'd got off the phone, packed up his stuff and said "Well mate, there's a slim chance we can get it to you for £600... I'll get back to you..." and legged it!
Anyone know anyone decent that will offer less ridiculous prices? As I doubt he'll come back for that £600 quote
