Hi guys.
I have re-installed Windows as I got myself a new motherboard and graphics. However when I get to the point where I sign into my Microsoft Account I cant because I am not connected to the internet. So I created a local account and thought ah well I'll just delete that account when I install the drivers for the LAN and add my Microsoft account. So I've done that but Windows has named my user folder jaseu_000 and its annoying the hell out of me.
Its never done this before as I have always been able to sign into my Microsoft Account during a fresh install.

Any ideas?

Clearly the Windows DVD doesn't contain the drivers for your onboard LAN.

Why not just make a randomly named temporary account (like temp1 or something), install your LAN drivers, then go to the start screen, type "Users" and click on "Add, delete and manage other user accounts", add a new account using your chosen email account then once done delete the existing user?

I have just discovered WinReducer8.1 and am currently setting up an iso that will hopefully allow me to incorporate the Killer LAN drivers.

Well it worked I placed the Killer LAN drivers onto the slipstreamed dis and installed Windows 8 again. This time it allows you to sign into your account.
