I'm fed up with the pointless bloatware on my Dell laptop and want to install a fresh copy of Windows. Will I have to buy a Windows reg key or will the factory supplied and currently installed Win 11 be fine? Also where can I obtain the installation file, to install from a USB stick. Is there any issues I need to watch for doing this.

Try doing a recovery install (reset) on my dell it certainly installed less crap. In fact hardly anything, maybe couple of dell utils but come in handy like power management. Try that and uninstall any stuff that's not needed.

You could download a ISO image, but if you mess around with recovery partition you'll no longer be able to do a Dell reset, so if it's under warranty and needs to go back they'll notice that. My dell has three partitions also.

Hadn't realised it could potentially impact warranty. I'll try your method, thanks.

wiping the drive and removing Dells recovery partitions is fine. Create USB install media using media creation tool, and fresh install home or pro, whatever your using.
Fresh windows install is near essential on a modern Dell.
