Got Windows 7 RC ready to be installed, so i'm in the process of backing everything up.

I always forget how to backup Outlook 2007.

Can anyone advise the best way to backup contacts and emails including folders and possibly rules too?

C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

That will give you the PST file containing all of your emails including inbox, sent & deleted.

Not sure about extracting contacts though.
