I was wondering if anyone could help?

I just completed my build yesterday and I am in the process of setting up the system.

I've upgraded the ASUS X670E bios to the latest version. 0821 https://www.asus.com/motherboards-c...ing/tuf-gaming-x670e-plus-wifi/helpdesk_bios/

When I try to run Windows 11 install is says this pc cannot run Windows 11.

Firmware TPM switch is enabled in the bios.

Erase fTPM NV for factory reset is set to disabled.

Any help with this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks! :)

Edit: Looks like it's a compatibility issue with AMD and Windows 11.

Just made a bootable Windows 10 drive and so far so good. Getting closer. :D

Stay with W10 for not, no reason to move to W11 especially if all you do is game.

I did but only because I decided I needed to try it (as my entire family will move to it and ask a million questions). I see very little difference other than annoying "optimisations" to the UI.
Cool. Thank you!

Huh. Had that with my 5800X3D, but a BIOS update came out shortly after and fixed it. Is the board on the latest BIOS? If it is, is there any beta BIOS you can try?

As for W10/W11 I stuck with 10 on my desktop but mainly for VR reasons, 11 had issues with WMR headsets and Steam (although seems solved now). 11 on other devices, not really any difference, although I suppose when games actually support and properly take advantage of Direct Storage that may change.
I updated the bios to the latest version as I was lost as to why Win 11 wasn't installing.

Good to know about Windows 10 and VR. I'll definitely be getting into VR eventually.:D
