Hi guys,
I have a basic computer that does not have a cd rom drive or a floppy drive and i want to install windows 2000 on it. It has however got some usb connections and a network connection, there is no software installed what so ever and i need to install windows 2k.

I tried first of all installing windows using my main machine and then putting it into the other machine but this didnt work the pc hung at startup i expect this to be due to the machines having completly different hardware.

Is there anything i can do to get this working?

I have done a couple of searches on gougle before posting here and there is a way of installing windows from a usb hard drive, has anyone had any experience of this?

i appreciate all your help on this one guys
