Frets on fire, anyone else play it?

Just was lookin for somit new to play online and came across this little gem. Its like guitar hero but only 50 meg download and you can make ** own songs on em. At the mo im liking bon jovi its my life. As its one i can keep up with lol. And using ** keyboard as a guitar is not that bad actually as in pick it up and use f1-5 keys for the cords and the enter for the pick. Almost like using the guitar off GH3. :)

yep, no reason to get it if you've played guitar hero. most of the custom songs made for it are badly done anyway.
 
Yeah funny enough i uninstalled it last wedensday after having it for a year or so! Most of the songs are not done properly so it usually resembles what i would think a pre alpha Guitar Hero would be like!
 
Got it yesterday, relaly good game. I never bought guitar hero because it was too much but this is great.

the only downside is mykeyboard is huge and is painfull, even more so than actually playing a real guitar ;D
 
I play it from time to time myself, but my version is pretty heavily modded. On the whole I find that the tracks that I've downloaded are quite good, though I have encountered a few absolutely terrible ones. It's definitely not as good as Guitar Hero, but I don't have Guitar Hero, so I'm making do with this.
 
yea i tried this for a bit but i had a laptop..... so was kind awkward to use, i had to use a ubs numpab than i had, was pretty fun but nothing really on GH
 
Actually i just got gh3 and tbh theres not really any diff apart from the background animated (dont have the mod yet for FoF). The gameplay and gfx tho is just as good as GH3 tho in FoF.

I use this mod on FoF. Which makes all the diff.

The worst thing in GH3 tho when i tryed the keyboard is that you cant play it like FoF as in pick it up and hold it while play with f1-5 and enter. Well you can except enter cant be configured to be the strung down. :( So have to use r-shift instead so i have to be more precise where i hit the strung key.
 
Just finished my first hardish song. Deep purple - smoke on the water. Had some trouble but managed to get through it. :)



Also 2nd place on nothing else matters.
