I got guitar hero 2 on the 360 the other day, but I'm already a bit bored of the songs on it. So I'm giving Frets on Fire a go. It's like an open source version of GH. Anyway the sound is really choppy making it pretty much unplayable. Apparently it's a Vista thing, but it works ok for some people. Anyone managed to get it to work properly in Vista? Tried googling but didn't really find anything useful.

I tried it in XP and it was very laggy - found out that if you have a duel core processor, just change the program settings in your task manager and set it to only run on one core.

its an ok game, but vastly inferior to guitar hero in every way other than the number of tracks available (although it can be tricky finding good ones)

i play it every so often when i need my metallica fix :)
