I went and had a look at the originator.
Some interesting graphic comics - I like the whole dark fairytale vibe with some of them. There's a touch of R E Howard short stories about them too.

It's either that or the bizarro redit narrative thing I found earlier this week - I fell through the virtual safety fence whilst leaning out trying to get a better view, after reading the topic here about the kid falling into the gorrilla enclosure*. A link in there lead me to somewhere else that lead me to somewhere else and before I knew what was going on I was caught up in something that made no sense at all but was still vaguely compelling nonetheless. But hey, at least it wasn't porn, right?

* I'm not sure what metaphorical analogue had to be shot to ensure my safety, or who should be feeling outrage on its behalf. Perhaps I ought to have a word or two upstairs about the security of the exhibits - I'm a little too old to have my parents lose me after all... it's more a case of me losing them, or the prospect of losing; different strokes effect different folks, as it were.
Well, that was a little darker than I intended, but reflects the moment I suppose.
