OK i got a bit carried away with vcore last night and fried one of the mosfet's on my P5K

Written on them is:

NIKOS
P0903BDG
GNP 1266

Ive searched high and low for these and email loads of people but cant seem to find them for sale.

can anyone help or even better anyone want to sell me some? :) even a broken p5k with these would be handy.

Thanks

do they do P5Ks anymore? they are P35

it depends what CPU you got, if you got a quad your better off with a P45

you could try the e word and get a dead one than take the mosfets off, that and resolder it on yours.

P45 mobos is the younger chipset to what you have now, I can't remember the differences, apart from 2.0 PCIe (makes little difference) 8x/8x xfire and can be in DDR2/DDR3(rare) form

they are great at overclocking, I had a P45 asus with a Q6600 got 3.8 out of it without a swaet had to take the over clock off due to heat as i had a big case with little fans back than.

I said that becasue I done I quick serach on that mobo at for a newish working one maybe looking at like 40-60 second hand, P5Qs are like 80 new or even less if you look around.

only place I can think off were you might pick on up *dead* is the e.....place put bay at the end than you can probley transfer the item that fired

im going to try and find the transistor but in the mean time i got a p5k premium coming.

the p5k got me to 3.8ghz but when i done the pencil mod to keep vcore up so it was stable the transistor went.

I didn't have to do that, I was just thinking about if the mobo dies anyway or something, non the less good luck.

the mobo is a p5k green so not as good as the permium.. was a cheap board that will get good speeds..

hopfuly some one can point me in the direction of some spares so i dont have to bin this mobo
