Friend has an odd screen fault.

Hi my mate has a strange probelm with his monitor he bought off ebay (knowing it had a fault) but I have never seen anything like it on an LCD monitor. Any idea how this has been caused:


It only shows up against a dark/black background and is invisble usualy unlike stuck pixles etc... he's not bothered by it and im just curious . The red bits are only one pixel in size and the camera has just shown them as blobs, the blue bit is a blob though.

Looks like somebody may have been too enthusiastic trying to get rid of a stuck pixel by rubbing, and ended up making it worse!

I don't like one stuck/dead pixel, I'd probably have nightmares over that! O_o
