Friend just bought phase change unit :O

A friend of mine in Germany just bought a Little Devil PC-V2 Phase Change - Black XL -

Can't say I'm not jealous, Operates at -30'c, That's correct, -30'c, Imagine that on a 4770K.
I'm going over in about 2 months so I'm looking forward to having a look at this wizardry ^_^
Anyone here had a dabble with phase change cooling ?

Yeah bout 10 years ago they were very popular, everyone seemed to have one the CPUs got to the stage where they were giving off too many watts for the cheap retail units to handle though, was the Intel Core 2 quad CPUs if i remember correctly. After that everyone seemed to go back to water cooling.

Theyre good fun, i wouldnt wanna run one without air con though they give off quite a lot of heat, that combined with ya PC would melt ya in this weather.
