I'm making the assumption here that your friend already has software otherwise he is going to have to compromise. This ought to be suitable though, you have a fast CPU which is very overclockable, a decent graphics card and solid sundry components.

I've done it for mates at work (a while back now) and I used to get something like £20 and a crate of beer but I didn't ask for anything, they just knew that I'd spent time on it and wanted to give me something for my time.
