My friend is looking to buy components for his computer. He is willing to spend 850 pounds, excluding the shipping. He already has a monitor, keyboard and a mouse. The computer is mainly going to be used for gaming.

Bit of a critic

Lost of Very expensive stuff. RAM, Motherboard, case, and SSD could all be swapped out for cheaper alternatives. with the money saved going into a better GPU.

At this Price reange you want that FX 83XX to compeat with an i5, the FX 63XX are more in line with an i3 performance and price wise.

ok, i see where you are coming from, im not very good at specing pc's unless its my own lol,

i have a fx6300 and tbh, its a pretty good cpu, i havnt got round to clocking it yet, waiting on the new cooler to try that.

thanks for the headsup though :)

Gone with the UD3 Mb as it still has plenty of features to satisfy the requirements of most people, and used the money saved to get a better GPU. Same goes for the CPU and RAM while adding a bigger cooler give a better CPU OC.

If it were my own money though I would still go with the i5 build.
