I noticed this guy/girl sat on top of a statue in the Hersmonceux Castle gardens today as I was walking through. I had my Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 on and couldn't be assed to fish out my 100mm from the bag so I thought I'd see what shots I could get. A few shots later I realised this Dragonfly didn't give a damn about me lol.

I dropped my bag and fished out the 100mm + 25mm tube and set about getting shots. When I moved on to getting a few shots from behind he/she took off a few times as if he/she had seen some food but when it came back to land, it obviously noticed that I was the higher perch in the area because it landed on my hand and my camera... And my head lol

After a while it flew off but it's definitely the friendliest Dragonfly I've seen! Normally they disappear when I get a meter or two away at the most.

The flower shot was also taken with the Sigma at 35mm but it was meant to be more about the flower than the Bee so I wasn't too fussed about where it was.
