A friend bought a 360 from Cash Generator (£200), it came with no box or original receipt, just the unit and controllers etc.
It's now refusing to play any discs with the message they are "unreadable", he has phoned CG who in turn told him to bring it in, he said if they can't fix it he'll ask for a refund and add to it to buy a brand new one.
I told him that i thought if he sent it to Microsoft they would fix it for nothing, therefore saving him £70.
Question is, would MS take this unit to fix or should he give it back to CG so that they can sort it/refund him ?
