friends system not powering up!

ok righty o, a friend bought a q6600, ip35 pro, corsair 4gb 6400, corsair 620psu, hooked up all the cables and peripherals, tried to turn on the system but nothing happens, all is connected and fine but nothing at all?:confused::confused:

Had a lot of people with this problem. They say all connections are made, but more often than not the 12v rail isn't connected. :rolleyes:

If it is, take out 2 of the sticks of ram and see if it will POST.
 
Righty well, tried it with an old 400w psu and powers up, we tried with the ram and one peripheral and still nothing, we had that in mind Cupra as we were reading the manual and still nothing >.<
 
I am havin the exact same problem atm. Got a q6600, abit ip35, 8800gt and the corsair 620watt psu. Put in the 24pin and 8 pin cables as in the manual. Turned the psu on and nothing happens >.<. Only get the red led on, the one which states that the power supply is connected to the power source. But not the other one which is system power is on.
