My friend has a horribly outdated pc (1core at 1.66hhz, no graphic card, 80gb IDE hdd, and 1gb ram) and he plays game at the lowest settings possible with really low fps. He told me he has roughly £600 max to work with and doesn't know what to buy, i said I'd try and use the least amount as possible and came up with this:
he doesn't need a OS as he got some cheap deal on windows 7 and i believe he recently brought a 22 inch his happy with out only needs the desktop.
Would the above work and run maybe not the latest, but 1 year old ish games at decent quality with good fps? Or is there any other spec ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
As far as i know he doesn't play any directx10 games let alone 11 so i don't think he needs the latest generation graphics (All i see him play is Dawn of War RTS games)
