Does the Desire have a front facing camera? How about the N1, or the Milestone etc etc.
Pointless unless you stand in front of a mirror!

it does say it supports nexus 1.. i guess you wont need a front facing cam to video call. will try it out later tonight

It was a rhetorical question! None of the phones it supports have a front facing camera. So what it the point?

Ok... so you need a mirror to see the other person whilst they see you?

Personally I think it's a "useful" thing to have, but nothing major. I've had video call functionality on my phones for the last 3 years and used it a grand total of twice, both times to "test" it...

cant seem to get it to work on my x10. i just love fring on my nokia since it worked perfectly! i know what you guys mean about it being pointless without the front cam.. but its a good start since android phones are now getting equipped with a front cam (galaxy S, htc evo)
