Fritz Chess Benchmark/Super PI Thread 2010

When abouts was the score table last updated?

I can't see any of my results on there, don't know if it's my browser not showing the latest...?

[see end of thread for updated scores!]

If anyone is feeling incredibly nice today, and happens to own an i7, how would you fancy clocking it to 3.8ghz and turning HT off, and posting up the SuperPi 1M and Fritz results?

Just wondering how it would stack up against the 965BE, I reckon that the massively higher scores may just be down to hyperthreading... :P

Not an i7, but an i5 which is the 965s direct competitor at 3.8ghz :p

I guess the results will be similar to an i7 with HT off :) Hope this helps.

Updated!

How could I get 10.5k on the Chess bench though hmm....

Good to see a lowly Q6600 at sub 4GHz can still keep up with the latest i7s reasonably!

How does it shape up?

Not far off really on the fritz, I got about 9100. Anihilated on SuperPi though, 17.3secs was my fastest, that was at 4ghz. :D

I was wondering how much the difference would be, I've heard loads of people say that for gaming, everyday desktop use etc the 965BE is equal to an i7 920, but is nothing like as good for rendering.

Ah well, 9100 isn't too bad! I was hoping to get it over 10k as no-one in this thread has managed it yet, but I can't get it stable enough at 4ghz for a run. :( It would be quite an achievement for a C2 though...
