Fritz Chess Benchmark/Super PI Thread 2010

LOL make your mind up.:p

It's not easyriders anyway, he's showing you NAM_killer's if you look in his quote. :)

Will be interesting though.

[Waits for NAM_killer to post the results]

My q9650 result was at 4.75Ghz from memory and with slack memory timings and just my first result. It will do 4.9Ghz so my post was valid.:p Nobody said my q9650 had to be at 4.6Ghz as my result was already at a higher frequency than that. ;)

Interesting to see that HT off means that you lose 3000 on chess at 4Ghz.

It will be pretty close between a q9650 and a i7 with HT off at the same speed.

Still, it just proves to me that I don't need to upgrade to i7 yet as I might see very little gain between a q8650 at 4.6Ghz and a i7 at 4/4.2 Ghz.

I think you should swap Motherboards with me so I can verify that it clocks so well. ;)

Damn my EP43, Hehehe.

Still no updates on the table?? dont start the thread if you cant keep up/

This. Disappointed now...........:(

Yep, this is really dissapointing to say the least.
When it first started, this thread and then the results thread, looked like it was getting loads of interest from forum members. To look at it now, most peeps have lost interest.

If you had no intention of keeping things up to date Paradigm, then why did you take it on in the first place. To say on Friday that it would be updated on Friday night, and then do nothing about it  It's not even as if you havn't been on the froum, because you were logged in for hours on both Saturday and Sunday.

I'm still interested. Thats said I did start it.:)

Right, if that thread isn't updated by the weekend I'm gonna go through it and whack all the results in a table!

How's the D0 stepping working out easy, is it that much better at overclocking?

Do it make the table and I'll whack it up on the firts page and get a don to add you to the second post of this thread.

It shall soon be revived! (i'll make sure I go through this thread too for any extras but would be good if people can post results in the results thread again)

Here we go..........:D

I'm still deciding how to display all the results so there will be more to come.

For now though, just the top 10 for SuperPi and Fritz and graphs showing various CPU's.

I have added linear trend lines as the results are pretty damn linear as CPU clock speed increases so they are representative. People should be able to follow the trend line back to a 'score' to see what speed different processors are 'equivalent' at.

Any CPU's not on the graphs are because there aren't enough results to make it worth while, so get posting!!! (i7's are everywhere at the moment)

I'm not sure what the situation is with which thread to use, I'll await comments on that one.

Sorry if the picture size isn't great either...
