Super Pi is single threaded and loves intel chips and raw clock speed, but Fritz seems a very unbiased benchmark that supports multi threading.

i agree with you and think this thread would have been better if Super Pi was replaced with something like cinebench.

i've only really been paying attention to the Fritz scores myself :)

New rig new score.
1055T @ 4.1Ghz
Fritz 14200
Super Pi 16.848s

As expected awful single core performance but makes up ground with the additional 2 cores.

Can I be cheeky and hypothetically fudge your hex core score into a quad by doing this 14200 * (4/6) = 9467 :D

Now let's look at the chart on the first page of this thread ....

#47 Phenom II [email protected] : Super Pi = 16.594 : Fritz = 9930

Interesting or maybe not ;)

You can fudge all you like. Yeah the Fritz nearly works out the same. It is my first ever AMD chip and i am loving it. Went from a Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz to the 1055T. So much easier to overclock.

Yeah I remember my first AMD chip ... it rocked ! It's been almost 5 years since I last bought a new one, been having itchy fingers this week as I'd like to play :D

Thanks for submitting your results btw !
