WOW, i beat a Phenom II at 3.92Ghz :D

Mayebaza did you run the bench with all your other programs open?
also, you need to run SuperPI Mod 1.5 for the results list :)

Well spotted Seraph, my results have now gone up to a personal best. My computer was recording two TV programmes simultaneously at the time of my previous attempt.

Turn off all those desktop gadgets aswell mate. When benching, its best to kill off absolutely EVERYTHING apart from what windows needs to run correctly and the benchmark app you are running ;)

Come on guys with AMD - I know it's not kind to us but there's a lot of Fritz results flying about with no SuperPi!

Because at single thread the AMD sucks but I must say the SMP results for AMD are really good considering the lack of grunt per single core.

Anybody submitted here yet?

"Quick....off to the BIOS!!" :)

Submitted ... Aiming for last place and holding it !

Having taken on board you Guy’s advice is this result any good for a first generation Phenom II?

yup that seems to be about right for a Phenom II, woulda thought it'd score slightly more than that though your only about 4 seconds and 400 points ahead of mine lol :p

i'll update the score sheet at the weekend providing theres sufficient new scores posted :)
