Fritz Chess Benchmark/Super PI Thread 2010

My offering (4.7GHz)

I very nearly got under 9 seconds in 1m super PI, but I couldnt get any ower than this, and the BSODs were too much to handle lol!

But I discovered that my system is stable on 210 BCLK, 20x CPU ratio, and the ram at 1680 Mhz at 6-7-6-18, so I get an extra 80 Mhz on my ram.

The ram I have will go up to around 1700 Mhz on 6-7-6-18, and 1750 Mhz on 6-8-6-20, but my CPU wont go any higher than 4.2 Ghz, and raising the ram higher needs too much BCLK. I cant use a different ram multiplier because my CPU only goes up to 21x.

Don't give up bhavv. Loosen your memory a bit and you will get there. Just done another go with mine and here's what I got, and i'm only using a noctua NH D14

Yep. Only run Super PI. Fritz will cause BSOD and i'm already idling @ 55C so can't risk adding more volts.:(

The good thing is, I finally managed to contribute to Overclockers UK Team in HWBot. :D

My memory isnt whats becoming unstable, even though its being pushed to its Cas 6 limit. It reaches around 1750 Mhz Cas 6, but needs loosening to Cas 8 to go up to 1850. It barely has much headroom at Cas 7, and it wont go over 1850 Mhz with 6 dimms installed, so clocking on Cas 6 around 1600-1750 Mhz gives me the best performance out of it.

I dont think my CPU / BCLK will go any higher.

been trying all day to get a decent oc for a pi run for the hwbot site on my e5200 but can't get anywhere even close to the guys using high end cooling and Ln2 :(

but this should be enough to put me in fourth for a dual core in our fritz chart :)

E5200 @ 4.3 :)
abit ip35
fsb 344
superPi - 13.250s
Fritz - 5772

not to shabby but can't get near the guys at the top of the hwbot charts.
