Fritz Chess Benchmark/Super PI Thread 2010

My aging Q6600, Intel DX38BT, 4GB Corsair PC3-10666, on air (Tuniq 120 Extreme).

is 1.44v vcore wise :confused: im guessing that WC'd but still, 4.5GHz is pretty damn good.

Most AMD owners use 1.4V-1.5V and above on their 45nm chips without problems.

I don't think it will be particularly dangerous as long as you can keep the temperature in check (which definitely won't be easy with an i7 at 1.45V/4.6ghz).
 
Perhaps he meant his own, personal fastest?

hehe yeh my own fastest, i wasn't the fastest in the HWBOT team so i know there's quicker, this was taken when i was going benching crazy and spent more time benching that using my PC, i now run at [email protected] with speedstep enabled!! That was also my old CPU before it and the Mobo decided to go kaput!!

And that was far from stable the highest i managed to get stable was 4.4Ghz, With good water cooling of CPU and Chipset there would be no problem running at that voltage...but it would (like all O/C) be at your own risk and i wouldn't recommend it.
