Froch Vs. Kessler

Froch is not an exciting or interesting fighter, but is one of the most arrogant, which pee's a lot of people off. I cant stand him.
 
how is froch not exciting?! did you see the pascal fight or the taylor fight, because you wouldnt be saying that if you have. he might be arrogant but he can fight.

i will be watching this one with great interest, its going to be a war between these two.

i am leaning towards kessler to win by a decision because its in demark, but froch might prove me wrong.

will be a great fight, hopefully with a big slugfest lol. potentially one of the fights of the year imo!
 
I'm hoping that Froch can win only because he's being screwed over in every way possible so far.

- Date of fight shifted back a week.
- Fighting in Denmark
- Location shifted to a city which is much harder to get to
- Tillman as a judge (yes the same ref from the Reid v Ottke fight)
- One of the other judges is extremely suspect too (basically 2 out of the 3 always judge/ref German based fighters which Kessler effectively is now due to his promoter)

Kessler is the better boxer but not sure how badly his confidence will have been affected by his loss to Ward.
 
I hadn't realised that Tilleman was involved until you mentioned him. This potentially doesn't bode well for Froch.

I was going for Froch but UD, but maybe he should be looking for the KO. I don't see that happening though.
 
yeah im hoping that some dodgey decision doesnt come into factor.

i dont know how people can say froch isnt exciting, they must have been watching differnt fights. roll on 2mo should be a cracker !
 
I thought Kessler was the best fighter in the division before he got schooled by Ward. He had absolutely no answer to the speed and accuracy of Ward's punching and came out of the fight looking pretty one dimensional, much like Froch did against Drivel. People should really look at that decision before questioning the judging for tomorrow night's fight. One or two power punches a round should not be enough to win a fight even if it is in your own backyard.

Agree. He's might have a fantastic punch and a world class chin but he's slow, incredibly lazy and has a non existent defence. He's been asking to have his head taken off for years and hopefully Kessler will be the man to do it.

lol, one of the fights of the year. I dont think so. Plenty of other fights that have already happened or will (hopefully) happen that have much more potential that watching Froch box.
 
I don't think Froch has a hope in hell of winning this one by points, he'll have to knock him out. He's too slow and his work rate isn't that great, but he has an awesome punch and one hell of a chin, and I for one hopes he KO's Kessler.

I'll be trying to catch this fight. Where is it showing?

Most boxers are arrogant. Why on earth you single Froch as been one of the most arrogant I dont know, is it that reason alone that you cant stand him ?

Agreed but Froch seems to lack charisma. He's as everyone said, a sloppy, uncolourful fighter with a chin that's as hard as nails.

The Brits normally get behind their fighters, but Froch doesn't seem to have grasped the adoration of fans. Maybe if he beats Kessler, and then the super six, which will really be a big acheivment, then maybe he'll get the adoration he wants.

Tonight all depends on how dented is Kessler's confidence after the loss to Ward. In the weigh in both looked in perfect shape and confident. I'm looking forward to this one. Though sadly, i'll be rooting for Kessler ???

No chance. Any victory, no matter how impressive, will be immediately ruined when he opens his mouth after the fight.

LOL at the commentators thinking Froch will cause Kessler more problems than Ward!
