its a fine line, they are remaking golden axe (as in next-genning it), most people HATE the idea, i mean you cant remake the classics right? Others say its building on a winning formula, who knows.

I say keep the games as they were intended, the formula was only good at the time, any modern kid confronted with Golden axe, shinobi, altered beast or streets of rage would prolly just say "daddy, why is forward, sideways?" to which i would reply "no silly thats 'up'" at which point their small modern mind would implode.

Retro games have a special place in all our reluctantly adult minds, but no place in being brought up to date.

In the options menu you can make the screen bigger.

There have been press releases over over the shop (And I dont even visit game sites) talking about Microsoft bringing retro to the 360, and a game will be released each Wednesday for the next 5 weeks, which includes what most people have been waiting for - Street Fighter 2.

LOL. BTW what is Golden Axe?, is this the game where you can pick to be a dwarf or warrior etc and then walk along eating whole chickens and fighting people?. I cant really describe it any better than that as i only played it a few times on my mates Amiga and i loved it, i couldn't get it for my C64 though .
