290x 8GB a goo card and then crossfire another when cheaper ?

I game at 2560x1080 ,, 4770k , corsair 850w

No, there is no bug, thats how the 970s supposed to work, as thats how it was designed

At 1080 resolution 970 SLI is still overkill. 'Upgradibg' that is just throughing money into the fire.

I'd check up on your terminology before you post too, you may get slated a little...

I use a single 970 at 2560x1080. Absolutely pointless using two of them
