I want to change the motherboard and processor in my PC. I don't over clock, but the CPU is a K version because I'd like to learn about over clocking one day. I'm also going to upgrade the GPU at some point in the future.

Motherboard: Asus Z97-PRO GAMER

CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K

I've listed the specifications for my current system below. Should I upgrade the PSU to something with a bit more wattage if I'm going for an i5?

My current system:

AMD Athlon X4 860K Black Edition @ 3.7GHz
Gigabyte F2A88X-D3H
Corsair Vengeance 12GB @ 1600MHz
MSI Radeon R7 260X 2GB OC Edition
500GB Seagate Pipeline
Cooler Master GM 650w

Keep the PSU.

Are you aware of the CPU+board bundles?

Got a aftermarket cooler?

My current board is a Gigabyte. It came slightly warped behind the IO area. There isn't any thing wrong with the board and it works fine, but this has put me off Gigabyte. Which is a shame because I've been told Gigabyte are the best board manufacturer along side ASUS. I've got to admit, that is a good price though. I'm also going to purchase an after market cooler in May and the board and CPU at the end of May to get me ready for June.

You mean slight bend in the board? seen this many times and its never effected the operation of the board.

Also seen it in photos of ASUS/MSI also especially in pictures of the rear I/O area, there is always a bit of a bend in them.

Yes. I didn't know if it was because of my stock AMD cooler? It was a slight bend around the I/O area. I'll probably go for a Corsair AIO this time.

Yeah the i5 4690 without the K on the end.

I've used Google and YouTube to have a look at some reviews of the Gigabyte board you linked with the bundle. I think I'll go with that. Do you know how long the deal is running for? Because I don't intend to purchase it until the end of May.
