From ATI to Nvidia: Format required?

Just ordered a GTX460 and i'm wondering if i need to reformat in order to avoid any driver conflicts since my current card is ATI?

It's not the end of the world if i do, but i'd rather not have to bother if it's avoidable in any way.

Also, is it worth installing any of the drivers and/or software that comes with the 460 or should i just download the latest drivers and use Afterburner for overclocking and such?
