I hadnt really. Not that I've had any issues with CF I would just like to get a single more powerful card this time round. Then in the future I could add another if required.

I went from 5770 xfire to a 6970 and found that an improvement so i would say the 7950 would be quite a bit better

That is good to hear.

I need the HDMI port for my TV. So I'll need to buy a DVI cable for my monitor, which just says "DVI in". Do I just buy one of these? Even though it's DVI-D?

Or do the Graphics cards come with DVI-HDMI adapters? As I have a spare HDMI cable.
Monitor connections are something I know nothing about lol.

it should come with all the cables needed to connect to your monitor

yeah it will be an improvement,if one 5770 is basically half of a 5870,two 5770's roughly equal to one 5870,the 7850 beats a 5870

it should come with all the cables needed to connect to your monitor

Cables? Or adapters? I've never bought a GPU that came with a cable. (pther than molex adapters)

I want to be sure before I buy cus I dont want to get a GPU then not be able to connect it! :P

noticed your going for a 7950,again it will come with all the cables/adaptors needed and be even more powerfull:D
