I have:

C-XP
D-Vista
E-Storage

Once I've got used to vista and know all my programs work fine with it, I'm looking to get rid of xp, and just use vista. Is it possible to just somehow remove the C partition and add it to the D? And then somehow rearange the drive letters...

Or will I just have to start over again?

If you had xp and then installed vista on another drive, vista writes some boot files to the xp harddrive and to get rid of xp and let vista boot on its own, I had to reinstall vista. I didnt mind too much as i only used vista for a few days before that. But if you have all your programs installed etc its a load of hassle. Theres probably an easier way but i couldnt find it then.

Oh that's very annoying. Especially as it takes so long to install things and make sure they work, then you have to do it again!

ive formated C and Lost ME
Now i cant get to XP on E and cant see anyway of edditing the boot file in Vista can anyone help out?
