Here are the reasons why I would like to side-grade to the Evolv:

- The metal is too thin and prone to vibrations.
- Cleaning the front filter brings me to tears.
- Optical bay: don't like wasted space.
- It's white. I get tired of white (same thing happened with a define R4 I ended up painting black).
- Nothing to upgrade until Pascal: what am I supposed to buy, clothes?
And for the way CPU is used in games I might keep that thing forever.
- The EVOLV will hide in a better way the hideous z87 Pro.

Anyone had both cases?

I just bought the luxe and was looking to see if anyone else had droning vibration sounds and how to stop it. Good to see its not just me that has an annoying vibrating from this case.

I was torn Between the Luxe and the evolv atx, I eventually decided to go with the evolv, and do not regret my decision one bit. It's an absolutely gorgeous case and extremely well designed despite the very Premium price for a mid size ATX case.

I would definitely recommend the gun metal colour as it looks absolutely stunning, cable management is very easy and there are no vibration problems from the fans which are included even if they run at high speed.

I have a Luxe and don't get any vibration from it.

I don't use any of the fans that came with it and have removed the HDD cage. Made sure there were no loose screws too. All cables firmly strapped or zip tied too.

My 540 vibrates with fans in the ceiling as there is lines of plastic over metal mesh, when I had Be Quiet fans it didn't do it but I know have an AIO in the ceiling with crappy Corsair fans and it vibrates really badly

The Evolv felt like an upgrade.

The aluminium sheets are much ticker than the steel on the Luxe (PSU shroud as well).
All the space is managed much better (bottom and the lack of drive bays - which seriously, shouldn't be in any case anymore)
The stock setup with 3 fans is perfect, especially once you move both higher for direct airflow to the CPU/GPU

It's also much quieter than the Luxe, which is the main reason I threw 140£ for this.
I don't think there is anything better in this price range (aesthetically and functionally), maybe the In-Win 804, but you need to tailor every component to make it look decent.

P.S. No vibrations although I want to upgrade the fans in the future.
