From LAST to FIRST in one lap in a Elise.

Been up a couple of times I think...?

Turns out he was in a faster Elise I think? Still very good driving, nice and forceful :D

I'm not sure if his car was any faster as you can see others pulling away from him on the straights. He just to get through gaps that don't seem to exist. I certainly wouldn't want to drive a fibreglass bodied car that close to others!

I don't think it was any more powerful, it just seemed that he knew the track a helluva lot better than the rest of the pack and that was quite evident in a number of corners.

Wouldn't fancy racing him, seemed to have nudged quite a few people!

This guy has posted a few other clips from races he's done. He did an awesome hillclimb in an Exige (think I posted it on here a week or so ago).

Also I saw another race in Australia that was so heated that they were smashing and bashing their fibreglass clams up!

It's clear to me his brakes/rubber is superior to everyone else as he brakes a lot later and possibly has a little more power too, but that doesn't take away that is some fantastic driving

They really are things that would lend me to think that it's down more to the driver than the tyres, brakes or power output - particularly when the field is populated by the same car.

I agree
