Right now I'm using onboard sound (Gigabyte DS4) with a 2.1 I-Trigue 3500 setup. I may decide to go 5.1 in a few months when I get a new pad, but for now this is my setup. (I also have a decent pair of headphones)

My PC, like a lot of us is my Audio Player, DVD player and games machine. What am I honestly going to notice if I switch to a device such as this? Is my music playback going to change at all? I have only ever used onboard sound, and I've been pretty content with onboard for a long time. Maybe I don't know what I'm missing.

Oh and how much juice do these things need? I only have a Tagan 430w and my CPU is OC'd.

Cheers guys.
