Anyone else playing From Other Suns?

Some of you may have played the beta, but for those who don't know this is basically FTL in VR, with the random weapons of Borderlands, and can be played single player or co-op for up to three people.

I've got addicted to this - it's hard, but great fun. Teleporting across to spaceships to fight is intense and can be very scary. It's got a few rough edges and annoyances but I'd definitely recommend it.

If anyone has got it I'd be really interested in teaming up.

Tried the beta. The first person shooter sections (which takes up most of the game) was just awful. Is it any better now?

If you didn't like the combat in the beta then you won't like the full game, as it's basically the same. However there's a much greater variety of encounters in the full game, so it is better in that regard. Personally I like the combat. It's not as polished as it could be but, feels really great when you're using cover properly to take out the enemies, plus the Borderlands style weapons system adds an element of looting to the combat system that helps keep it fresh.

I really wasn’t sold on the beta, the combat felt terrible to me. Though know doubt I will pick it up later in it’s life cheap for some brain dead co-op fun
