I just looked at the trailer, and it actually looks really good

im tempted to buy it if its got longevity (more than star trek!)

does anyone else have this game ?
 
It's got a lot of replayability. The downside is it's effectively abandoned, so I'm not sure what the long term support for multiplayer will be, i.e. will the matchmaking servers ever go off?

It's an ideal candidate for a Quest 2 port.

I'd say it's worth it if you get some store credit.

I agree with Ravager. Decent title, could have been fantastic but, maybe due to when it was released as well as being oculus store exclusive it never reached its potential. Still it is worth a buy imo if you get a 30% off code etc.

if it came to quest it could really get a 2nd lease of life, i just hope it would be a cross buy, cross play title and not go the way of say in death where PC users got boned.
 
If anyone does have this game I'd love to play MP.

I have unlocked most of the ships and weapons, so you wouldn't be starting from scratch.
 
Everyone gets progress and unlocks. It's based on achievements which you get by finding collectibles, killing enemies, and doing other activities.

Unlocks include different ships and additional weapons available in the captain's cabin at the start of the run.

However it's the host who chooses the ship for the run and whose weapons appear on the captain's wall.

For example if I joined a newbies game then none of my unlocked weapons would be available.

The unlocks don't really matter too much, as you find more and more powerful weapons the further you get through a run. By the end of the run even your unlocked weapons could be underpowered.
 
i cant commit to a time unfortunately - its one of the reasons why i rarely buy games based on online MP........ however i am gagging to give this another go again (largely due to this thread). hopefully if i can get on at some point i will post on here and maybe planets can align.

last time i tried i think i had a problem with ReVive working with it... i cant remember why...... controller mapping on my reverb G2 maybe.... but i do have a quest 2 as well.
