Hi guys, I'm new to the forums. I've been using pc's for about 20 years now. So I'm fairly known with hard-/software for regular pc's.

I just got a new job where everyone is using Apple Macbooks and Ipads. They use it because they airdrop a lot of files/pictures for showing customers etc. Because I have to travel with them at least once a month I'm willing to buy a Macbook to blend in, but I have no clue on how Apple hardware functions. I see processors with 1.4 Ghz and Iris(?) videocards which honestly sound pretty underwhelming, but they still have a steep price. Besides work (photoshop, editing videos) I like to game (got a pretty brutal gaming pc at home). But when traveling I prefer games like Hearthstone and simple point and click games. Is there anyone (pref. someone who has experience with Macbooks) who can help me configure a Macbook to fulfill my needs?

Thanks in advance!

Apple have a greedy 60% profit margin, but people keep buying their stuff. The OS is a million times better than ****** windows though, perhaps get a used one with warranty, macfinder is probs the best shop. Anything with a discrete GPU will be fine.

Not sure I can agree for even a second that it is a million times better than windows. Subjective imo based on what you are doing. Personally I would take windows over OSX 99.9% of the time.
