from Q6600 to Core i5 750

Ok, so im thinking of upgrading/modifying my rig (look at sig)
i have not overclocked it, well iv got it at 2.86 atm but tbh its got no difference in games rly.

So ive got 2 choices:
1. get a meghalem with 2 fans and overclock the hell outa it.
2. Around christmas get a complete core i5 setup (core i5, 4gig, p55 intel mobo) for around the £300 mark.

i can live with my quad for now until christmas but its horrible to play with when u get 20fps with gta4 online (everything low 1680x1050) on a very populated server. so advice would be appreciated!

If you sell one of the 4850s and the contents of your old rig you might be able to afford an upgrade to i7, including processor, memory and motherboard
