This little beauty showed up on my door this aftenoon, and I am pleased to say the install went fine and everything is working great. I previously had an Ati 4870 512Mb, and I can see quite a difference in a few games, which is very nice indeed :)

Technically he's gone to the Dark Side (thought Rebels were the red team :p).

@OP Grats on your new card. Mine just arrived this afternoon, will try installing tonight Did you do anything fancy to remove the ATI drivers or just the standard uninstall from Control panel?

i would run driversweeper in safemode if it was me.

I uninstalled from the CP, then I used Driver Sweeper, to check for any remaining files.
 
Yep, another vote for the blue pcb. Seen all sorts of colours before, usually nice to see something different from green or red.

I have to say, I can't stand green or red PCBs. They always seem to look cheap and tacky.
