From (TV Series)

Man how long has it been since the last season?...might have to rewatch it all.

There was a list of episodes to watch ahead of the new season. Around 8-9 I think.

Some didn’t feel like they covered much but who knows what hidden bits might force a recollection.

This is my annoyance with modern tv series the gaps are just too dam long between seasons

To be fair, it really isn't all that long ago.

The final episode of season 3 aired on November 24, 2024 so less than a year and a half, although I do think there was a delay for S04 so it's a month or two later than expected.

I watched it as it aired in us so feels allot longer, probably longer than it is

I do still feel modern shows do take large gaps which will cause some to drop off imo

There does seem to be longer gaps, or it feels like that, between shows these days and it has definitely had an impact for me at times i.e. Severance I finished season 1 hooked on the show and wanting more, by the time season 2 came out approx. 3 years later my interest had vanished and it just didn't pull me in any more and I never completed the season - whereas if it had been a few months later I'd have probably binged season 2.

Even with the 5 minute recap at the start it still felt like it had left plenty of other story lines out of it.

Glad that they went straight into it rather than doing the usual lets drag things out now we gave the show a big push at the end of s3. With the 'inside man' now.

Annoying that (ignoring Sky) this is only available from Now - I've had more than enough of their BS with "not" ads and boost, etc.

Might not be much need for fillers now the producer's writers know they are getting to finish with another season.
Though I remember some episodes being slow, was kinda the nature of the story etc setting stuff up, I don't remember it being that bad for it.

I hope so but been burnt by other shows where they know it's ending but constantly keep adding new characters / storylines to 'pad' it out and forget to close storylines out before it fully ends.

My worry is a long break between the last two, hoping they are allowed to finish it off cause the streamlined the cost. Which hopefully means nothign added. Just give me a conclusion thats half thought out with the current characters.

So much cringe in the first episode, love it! It felt like they were really just catching us up with what happened before, good job as I had forgotten most of it.

I enjoyed the episode, set the tone for the rest of the series. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

I'm glad it is getting a 5th and final season, I hate it when series don't get renewed and you have no conclusion.
