Front audio connectors

Yo yo, you know the front speaker and mic connectors on cases is it possible to connect those up to a creative live 5.1 card or are they only for onboard sound cards?

I think its possible which card do you have? is it the oem or retail version?, there should be some pins on the card for connecting to Creative's own Live Drive front panel connecting thing.

of course creative being creative wont release the info from there customer services because they want you to buy their gear, but if you google around I'm sure you'll find the info you need.
