Front brake binding when on full lock

I've MOT'd my mums L plate clio last week. It came back with a long list of consumables that needed changing, Discs, pads, one hose anti roll bar rubbers and a few bulbs.

Done all the work, but now the passenger side front barake binds when you're on full right lock.

Any ideas?

Did you have to remove the calliper to change the pads? If so did you manage to put a twist the brake pipe when you put the calliper back on?

The hose was origionally twisted. We untwisted it by removing the caliper. It rubbed on something before (Another fail point.)

If i take this back for a retest do you think he'll fail it again?

That's the thing the hose isn't very old, it's still clean. I drove it around a bit last night and there is no problem with steering anymore (Was terrible, both front brakes were binding) it turns tight right and left corners fine, and is fine turning in the road even on full lock.

It will be investigated over christmas, i just want to get the MOT ticket if possible. The binding brakes were an advisory so i'm hoping he'll pass it on the work i've done so far. I have the replacement hose should it need doing, i just don't have the space time or light to do it at home.

Could it be something to do with not having location bolts on the discs? They had both been sheared at some point and couldn't be removed.

EDIT binding might be too strong a word, rubbing [robably describes the noise better.

Replace the hose. Stop focussing on the paperwork and start thinking about safety.

I think it is safe. It stops fine, steers fine and doesn't pull to the side while driving. However the car won't be driven other than to and from the tester until it's sorted out, i'm not stupid just short of time, tools and the place to do it

It's a new disc as well, so i think that's unlikely to be corrosion. The caliper on that side was sticking, we took it off and copperslipped it and it seemed to be ok so i can't see that it's that either.

I'll jack it up when i get home and see if it is binding. If it's only rubbing i'll put it through, if not i'll have to try and get the hose replaced this week somehow.

Well i dropped it off at the place tonight and it didn't make the noise at all on the way, including a tight roundabout so i think it may have sorted itself out. It may of course have been nothing to do with the brakes at all, and just some random detritious in the wheel arch that has now fallen out.
