Well another winter is almost upon us so Sat I changed the summer wheels for winter wheels and while there checked front pads and would you believe it almost no inner pad left-
Two MOT's ago (or three)I had this as a advisory so took everything off - cleaned caliper holders -cleaned calipers - filed any high bits and made sure everything was smooth -put new pads and pins in and here we are again.
Tomorrow will go to garage in village and book it in for disc/pads/calipers.
I am thinking now that the calipers I bought a few years ago were faulty if that can happen -It is on both sides so not one side sticking or whatever.
Outside pad is almost full thickness and disc is clean so it's touching but not braking.
These brakes have been crap since bought car when it was 2 months old.
I have put three sets of discs on -4 or 5 sets of pads and one set of calipers (it's 2010 Focus)
