As per title. My CTR needs the front calipers repacing for the second time. After falling flat on my arse looking at doing it myself (and not having anywhere near enough time or the tools), and my usual mechanic going on holiday until next week sometime, my neighbour offered his services out of the blue (again).

Now this is the second time he's fitted calipers to my car, and I managed to forget to give him anything for his efforts the first time (for which I feel rather sheepish). I will be helping out as a dogsbody this time. I've also got a set of goodridge hoses to fit at the same time.

So what I'm asking is - how much would you expect to pay an independent mechanic to fit 2 front calipers and hoses all round?

Cheers

Max of about 1 hours work, £40 an hour.

Ok, that's about what I was thinking, just wasn't sure. It took him about an hour last time in the dark!

It looks like some work will need to be done on the copper line to the hose aswell - it's rusted solid.

Cheers for the info. :)
